#014 Reason To Switch To A Mac

Everything's In iSync

When you have over a thousand contacts, it's easy to lose track of things.

Who's this Sheila Barvaridad, you'll ask, and what is she doing in my address book after Joey De Leon? How did they get here, and why do I keep getting emails from this Trina Lopez about going to Venezuela next summer?

iSync easily puts you in the right, in style.

There's the amazing Address Book, which allows you to fill in as many entries as you like (or even create entries of your own), from their usual contact details (cellphone, home and work no. etc.) to their parents' names and the exact statistics of all their sugar plantations in Batangas. You can also cross-reference these parents' business cards on the same page, basically micro-networking within your address book. All this, plus the added bonus of getting to put up their pictures, no matter how big the file or how wacky the expression. For instance:

At the click of a mouse, all your data is seamlessly synchronized - from your Mac to your BT-enabled phone, your iPod, your .Mac account to any BT handheld of your choice. This information is shared by all relevant software in your computer, including Mail, Safari and iCal.

That means, when I send you an email, this is what it looks like.

And when you send me an email, this is it what I see.

Ready to switch yet? There's more, and I'll tell you why.
