Positive

The show is on shaky ground. It's in perpetual limbo, because our host is still tentative about her contract and we don't know what station we're going to be aired on - the main channel, or Studio 23.

This is agony.

Please, Lord: if you won't let the show push through, give me a permanent full-time editorial position with the magazines I'm writing for, the ones I've applied to, or the ones who have heard of me (as a writer or a model, or both). I'm so tired of putting in so many hours and not being compensated adequately enough for my hard work.

Pray for me, friends. I really need it now.

Update: Seconds after I posted this, Gerry Los Banos texted: "Just got word. Ms. Mata, please report for work this Monday. :)" For this position, I was up againt Luis K, Palanca Award-winning writer, U.P. teacher and former staff writer for PULP magazine, so I'd thought all was lost. But never doubt God - He works in mysterious ways. :)

On Monday, I start work as an editor for the U.P. Press. Yay!
