flying cars and coffee

I dreamt I was flying in a red Pontiac with white seats, heading towards my ranch in Bukidnon. I landed on one of the higher hills, where coffee beans (low-grade arabica and good quality robusta) grew. It wasn't harvest time yet, so the beans weren't fully grown, only about half a meter high. As I got out of the car, the coffee beans suddenly shot up, stretching their leaves and green pods so that they towered over me, swarming over the car. As I reached out to touch one shimmering stem, a pod cracked open, dropping a very green bean in my hand. It became a large cup of hot coffee when I said my name.

Later on in the dream, I met Rob Thomas. He was picking corn from our field and feeding it to our pink, fuzzy cows. Those cows, I remember dreaming about them even as a child, and in all my dreams they weren't just pink, the same color as Caladryl, they also wore silver neck bells and pearl earrings. Instead of mooing, they sang pop songs, mostly selections from Barbra's Live Concert At The Forum (1972) and more recently the best of Kylie Minogue. Tonight, they were doing a rather off-key interpretation of "I Should Be So Lucky".

And Rob was singing along with them.

Smiling, he gave me three husks, but not before he asked, So, where did you park the car? It's about time we got back home, I've been feeding your cows all day.
